PTS Defensive Tactics Instructor Course:
This is a 5 day course of instruction that trains and certifies Defensive Tactics Instructors. Instructors are certified to teach: offensive and defensive striking and kicking & blocking techniques, pressure point control, joint lock controls, handcuffing, handgun retention, neck restraint & straight stick techniques of blocking, striking and grounding. Certification is good for 3 years. Professional mannual is provided. Course fee is $450.00 plus academy fee or use of academy credits per student.
This is a 3 day course of instruction that refreshes, updates & recertifies prior instructor certification. Recertification is good for 3 years. Updated manual is provided. Course fee is $350.00 plus academy fee or use of academy credits per student.
PTS Ground Fighting Instructor Course:
This is a 5 day course of instruction that trains and certifies Ground Fighting Instructors. Instructors are certified to teach: offensive/defensive movement, blocking, striking and kicking, grounding techniques, pins, locks and bars and transitions of movement among entire course content to include body controls and handcuffing. Certification is good for 3 years and a professional manual with pictures and instruction is provided. Course fee is 450.00 plus academy fee or use of academy credits per student.

PTS Offensive/Defensive Knife Instructor Course:
This is a 3 day course of instruction that trains and certifies instructors to teach offensive and defensive use of the knife. Various grips, cuts, blocks and disarms are taught with complete emphasis of surviving against knife attack or surviving with the use of the knife. Course content is equally applicable to use of the combat knife or use of the pocket knife. Professional manual with pictures and instruction is provided. Certification is good for 3 years. Course fee is $350.00 plus academy fee or use of academy credits per student.
